Who Buys Virgin 15.5 GSM Toilet Tissue Parent Reels
The main buyers are converting plants that turn parent reels into retail toilet rolls, maxi rolls for washrooms and private-label packs for supermarkets. A 15.5 GSM single-ply reel is usually combined into 2-ply or 3-ply on the converting line, which gives a soft, bulky finished roll.
Virgin wood pulp gives higher brightness and softness than recycled fibre, so it suits premium and mid-market retail ranges. If your market is price-driven, compare it with the Paplero Mixed Pulp Hand Towel Jumbo Roll 35 GSM Wholesale.
Specification of the Paplero Virgin Toilet Tissue Jumbo Roll
- Basis weight: 15.5 GSM per ply with tight tolerance.
- Ply: 1-ply reel, combined on your line.
- Pulp: 100% virgin wood pulp, white or natural shade.
- Reel width: up to 2700 mm, slit to your converting width.
- Reel diameter: 1150 mm, other diameters on request.
- Core: 76 mm (3 in) or 152 mm (6 in) inner diameter.
- Moisture: below 8 percent for clean converting.
Brightness and softness are tested on every reel. Tell us your rewinder width and core size at the enquiry stage so the reels are slit and wound to fit your line without trimming waste.
Container Planning When You Buy Paplero Virgin Toilet Tissue Jumbo Roll 15.5 GSM Wholesale in Europe
A reel of 2700 mm width and 1150 mm diameter weighs about 620 kg. Tissue reels are light for their size, so a container is limited by volume, not by weight. Narrower slit widths change how many reels fit, so we confirm the exact loading plan on the proforma invoice.
Reels are wrapped in PE film with end caps to protect the edges and keep moisture out during the sea voyage. Most converters fill a 40ft high cube for the best cost per tonne, while the minimum order is 1 x 20ft container. You can also mix this grade with other reels from our jumbo tissue parent rolls range, such as the Paplero Virgin Kitchen Towel Jumbo Roll 22 GSM Wholesale.
Price Drivers for Virgin Toilet Tissue Parent Rolls
Tissue reel prices follow pulp and energy costs, so we issue written offers for each order. The main factors are:
- Pulp grade: 100% virgin pulp costs more than recycled or mixed fibre.
- Grammage and width: they change the tonnage per reel and per container.
- Volume: a full 40ft high cube gives the lowest freight cost per tonne.
- Incoterm: FOB Manila, CFR or CIF to your port.
- Payment: T/T 30% deposit and 70% against B/L copy, or L/C at sight.
Compare offers on a CIF basis to Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, Gdansk or your own port. The ICC Incoterms rules explain where cost and risk pass to the buyer.
EU Import Checks for Tissue Parent Rolls
Tissue parent reels in large rolls are declared under HS heading 4803. Check the duty and measures for your country in the EU TARIC database before you order. If your retail customers ask for certified fibre, the Forest Stewardship Council label is the most common chain-of-custody standard in Europe; ask for certified reels when you request the offer.
